NEW! The Lebanon's online lesbian magazine Bekhsoos is back. This publication, whose Arabic name loosely translates as "Concerning," was billed as the Arab world's first publication for lesbian and bisexual women. Read more.

NEW! USA: President Obama announced in October 30,2009 the end of a 22-year ban on travel to the United States by people who had tested positive for the virus that causes AIDS. Read more.

NEW! India: The Election Commission of India has decided to allow Transgender People to indicate their gender as 'other' where they do not want to be described as male or female. Read more.

NEW! USA: A restriction on abortion coverage was added to the health care bill. The provision would block the use of federal subsidies for insurance that covers elective abortions. Read more.
